Aids and Africa

Aidsandafrica.com is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to use the Internet as a medium to encourage people to help fight AIDS in Africa. We believe no one needs to become a full-time AIDS activist to get involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Mission
Our goal is to help break the culture of silence surrounding AIDS in Africa through advocacy and support for HIV/AIDS awareness programs in Africa. Additionally, we intend to use our portal to campaign for the production of cheaper generic HIV/AIDS drugs as part of temporary measures to help cope with the AIDS epidemic.

Finally, our plan is to mobilize resources to help support organizations directly involved in caring for AIDS patients and orphans in Africa. In pursuing the above-mentioned goals, it is our hope that our website will serve as a guiding tool to people intending to use the Internet as a research tool in the area of HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Project Information
Founded in April 2000, aidsandafrica.com is dedicated to providing up-to-date, comprehensive, in-depth information on HIV/AIDS in Africa.
