The magnitude of the HIV/AIDS crisis in Africa is so huge that many people have become desensitized about the suffering and human toll of the disease. However, the fact still remains that 25 million adults and children have died in Sub- Sahara Africa due to AIDS and another 30 million are currently living with the disease. In 2007 alone, another 2.6 million adults and children died and 2.5 million became infected with HIV.

It is the belief of Aidsandafrica.com that no one needs to become a full time activist to make a difference and help fight the spread of HIV/AIDS in Africa. There are many effective ways through which you can become part of the solution. Here a few:
